Les smartphones transforment-ils les adultes en mauvais parents ? Premier point sur lequel les critiques se sont concentrés : à quel point l’écran pliable laisse-t-il voir le pli ? Très peu, selon les personnes qui l’ont eu en main et observé sous toutes ses coutures. Numerama annonce même un chiffre : dans 90 % des cas, la démarcation serait invisible, ce qui le distingue de ce que proposent ses concurrents, décrit par le média comme « l’effet brillant du plastique pliable » . Un succès dû à l’utilisation d’un écran nano texturé (comme celui que l’on retrouve sur une liseuse) plutôt que de la classique dalle brillante. Lors de la présentation de l’iPhone Duo, ce parti pris d’Apple avait laissé sceptique. Les spécialistes sont finalement conquis. La luminosité est bonne, même en plein soleil. « C’est joli, c’est fluide, c’est agréable » , s’enthousiasme Le Figaro . RTL, chez qui l’iPhone a été testé pendant une semaine, émet cependant une petite nuance : le contraste et la vivacité des couleurs sont nécessairement moins bons qu’un écran classique. 50 % du temps fermé, 50 % du temps ouvert Côté technique : l’écran intérieur fait 7,6 pouces et utilise un ratio de 1,4 : 1 (ce qui est plus grand que celui de l’iPhone Pro Max 18).
